Haptic Illusions

Robles-De-La-Torre and Hayward showed that the illusions of vertical bumps can be generated by applying opposing and aiding forces in a horizontal plane on a finger exploring a surface. Inspired by their work we tried to see if we could take this a step further. We had some interesting results. Check out the paper here.
